Overview: 
To perform all aspects of membership payment processing and data entry for the Membership Department.
Duties and Responsibilities: 

In this role you will be responsible for the following: 

  • Serve as data entry operator for all membership payments including dues payments, events fees, and contributions. Prepare batch reports for the accounting office.
  • Maintain all computerized membership records, establish new member files, and update renewed member information, in all software databases.
  • Provide customer service to members and visitors over the phone and in person as needed.
  • Work with membership volunteers as needed.
  • Other duties as required.
  • Must be able to complete assignments in a timely manner.

Qualifications: 

Our ideal candidate will have the following:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with at least three years related work experience.
  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and database systems.
  • Ability to deal with staff, members, donors, and potential donors in a professional manner.
  • Must handle cash and credit card receipts with integrity.
Physical Demands: 
Office setting. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, listening, speaking, and keyboarding. Use of office equipment including computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, and fax machines. Some requirements for lifting, pushing, or pulling items less than 30 pounds.
