Seasons of Grief: Nature’s Healing Power
New! Immersion in nature offers healing and connection to those who are grieving. Identify nature-based strategies to incorporate into your self-care. Explore current grief theory—including the importance of nature in healing—through discussion, readings, guided walks through the Garden, meditation, observation, and journaling. While this is not a grief therapy group, you will have opportunities to share your own experiences of loss and healing in a facilitated group setting.
Anne Rooney, R.N. (ret.), M.S., M.P.H., healthcare consultant and writer, and Mary Ann Spina, teacher, writer, and counselor with master’s degrees in counseling, theology, pastoral studies, and divinity
