Looking at Gardens: Photography Workshop

Tuesday & Wednesday, June 28 & 29, 2022, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Visiting Artist Workshop
Lee Anne White will lead this two-day photography workshop on looking at gardens with an eye toward capturing a sense of place and telling the story of the garden. We’ll begin the workshop by exploring gardens together—learning how to look at them from different perspectives and discover their intent and uniqueness. We’ll also discuss ways to maximize your time and work with changing light in the garden. Everyone will have an opportunity to photograph a garden and present a "short story" at the end of the workshop. The course includes lunchtime lectures and one-on-one support as we make images in the garden. Lunches are not included; please bring a sack lunch or purchase at the Garden café. Space is limited. The School’s CEUs=10 hours

FPC elective, master track

Levels: Intermediate and advanced. Students should already be comfortable with their cameras, image-processing software and sharing completed assignments.
