Designed for the advanced photographer who wants to create a winter portfolio, this class will walk students through the evolution of abstract photography. Trace and study the art of abstract nature photography by completing projects based on art movements such as impressionism, expressionism, cubism, surrealism, dadaism, and minimalism. Study the works of Man Ray, Minor White, and others from the history of photography. The class will end with projects based on contemporary photographers. The School’s CEUs=18 hours.
