Native Woodland Plants

A tremendous variety of native plants grow in the oak woodlands of the Chicago region. Differences in topography, moisture, soil type, and light levels all work to support them. Once common, a large number are now rare and difficult to find. Learn the ecology of these plants and how they can diversify and add interest to the home landscape. Please dress for the weather. The School’s CEUs=3 hours
