New! Artists may be familiar with the principles of perspective; that is, the concept that parallel lines appear to meet at a point on the horizon, but the same principles of perspective also apply to reflections and shadows. You will learn how to apply linear perspective in the often unexpected views in reflections and surprising distortions in shadows Through exercises, outdoor observations, and sketching in the gardens, you will increase your awareness and confidence in meeting the challenge of including reflections and shadows in your artwork. Please dress for the weather. A supply list will be sent. Prerequisites: Botanical Drawing 1 or comparable experience. The School’s CEUs=5 hours
