Colored Pencil on Mylar

Saturday & Sunday, February 9 & 10, 2019, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

$191.20/$239

New! For those familiar with the use of colored pencil on paper, here is the opportunity to work with the new popular substrate, Mylar film. Colored pencils on film can depict the rich, glowing color of florals, with the potential for adding the illusion of depth and atmospheric fade. Techniques covered include working on both sides of the film, grisaille, and background painting. Please bring a printed photograph of your botanical subject or bring a live specimen of the plant. Prerequisites: Colored Pencil Drawing or Colored Pencil Workshop courses. The School’s CEUs=12 hours. A supply list will be sent with your confirmation.
