Botanical Watercolor: Shines and Shadows

6 Thursdays, July 19 – August 23, 2018
1:30 – 4:30 p.m.

$298/$238.40

New! Lively looking botanical paintings need shiny highlights with dark contrasting shadows. Delicate and brightly colored flowers and fruits can easily get muddy and dull. Inspired by the Garden's abundance of summer flowers and fruits, the instructor will guide students to get control over water and paint while building up layers and adding rich and dark colors without getting messy. Fine details will be added with drier brushstroke to enhance botanical accuracy and perfect edges. Beginning and intermediate levels. The School’s CEUs=18
