TITLE: Seasonal Part-time Media Services Technician – FILLED

PURPOSE: The purpose of the media services technician is to lend audio-visual support to meetings and events on the Garden grounds.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: The media services technician will be mainly responsible for the timely set-up, and wrap-up of small sound and video systems. Candidates will work with microphones, DVD and VHS playback, and small LCD projectors. Basic computer skills will be used and PowerPoint software will be the main focus. Media Services managers and coordinators will guide and train as needed. Our technicians must posess a pleasant disposition and be able to work well in a professional environment.

DEPARTMENT: Information Systems

REPORTS TO: Manager of Media Services

SUPERVISES: None

COOPERATIVE RELATIONSHIPS: All employees as well as customers.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The audio-visual technician position requires a very flexible schedule (some nights & weekends) and must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
