TITLE: Seasonal Custodian

Help maintain public areas inside and outside during the busy season. Help with set-up of shows, meetings, special events and weddings.

PURPOSE: To clean and perform custodial maintenance for all building facilities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES: Help in the maintaining of public areas inside and outside during the busy season. Help with set-up of shows, meetings, special events and weddings.

Maintain public areas such as the picnic area, parking lot trash receptacles, Children’s Garden, south washroom facilities, Evening Island facilities Fruit & Vegetable Island facilities, McGinley Pavilion facilities, CLC Center and any scheduled outdoor events.

DEPARTMENT: Custodial Services

REPORTS TO: Foreman, Custodial Services

COOPERATIVE RELATIONSHIPS: All departments, as required

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma and two (2) years previous custodial experience. Licensed driver insurable by the Society. Must be able to operate floor cleaning equipment. Able to lift and carry 25 lbs.
