TITLE: Instructor, Camp CBG
PURPOSE: To instruct 2 1/2-hour, five-day programs for children ages 2–12 for the Camp CBG summer day camp program. Programs are hands-on, inquiry-based, outdoor science experiences.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
1. Instruct groups of 12–15 children. Supervise campers at pick-up and drop-off site. Morning instructors work from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Afternoon instructors work from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
2. Prepare syllabi and lesson plans in cooperation with the coordinator of Youth Programs.
3. Purchase supplies in accordance with the established procedures.
4. Attend mandatory trainings and pre-camp Parent Orientation.

REPORTS TO: Coordinator of Youth Programs
SUPERVISES: Campers, volunteers
COOPERATIVE RELATIONSHIPS: Primarily other CTL staff, Camp CBG staff, campers and parents
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Must be available for a minimum of two weeks of summer. Weeks do not need to be consecutive. Extensive teaching experience required, preference given to those with experience and/or interest teaching science and environmental/outdoor education and/or early childhood experience. B.A. or B.S. in education or related field required. Must be comfortable working outdoors, standing for long periods of time, and able to lift 25 lbs.
