TITLE: Camp Counselor, Camp CBG
PURPOSE: To assist the Manager of Camp Programs with daily camper drop-off/pick-up, serve as instructional aides, and lunch supervision. Camp CBG is a specialized program of the Education Department that focuses on the development, delivery, and evaluation of outdoor science, nature, art, and foods-based educational programs for children ages 2 to 15.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist with daily drop-off/pick-up of campers
2. Greet and welcome parents and campers
3. Supervise campers during lunch period
4. Other duties as assigned
DEPARTMENT: Education
REPORTS TO: Manager, Camp Programs
COOPERATIVE RELATIONSHIPS: Primarily other Camp CBG staff, teachers, campers, and parents
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Position is 6.5 hours per day, seasonal, June 17 through August 16, 2013. Punctuality, flexibility, and efficiency are a must. Must be able to work outdoors, stand for long periods of time, and lift 25 lbs. Must enjoy interacting with people of all ages.
