Call for Oral Presentations and Posters:
Student Research in Plant Biology and Conservation

Saturday, November 1, 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

 Register to attend the symposium

Anyone interested in presenting at this symposium must submit an abstract to the Program Chair before OCTOBER 1, 2008. Posters should be no larger than 30" x 40". The Program Committee reserves the right to reject submissions because of program constraints. Authors will be notified in early October regarding acceptance of their poster.

Submission of abstracts

Each entry must be submitted electronically and include:

• Presentation Application
• Abstract (in the following format):

Title.
Author*1 and Author2 (presenter marked with asterisk)
Address1 and phone number
Address2

Underline the abstract title. List the full names of the author(s). If there are multiple authors, superscripts should be used to identify the authors with their affiliations and addresses. The name of the presenter should be marked with an asterisk and the phone number included with the address. Skip one line between the header and the abstract. Abstracts should be descriptive and concise with no more than 300 words. Include an introduction, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions in the abstract. Also include up to five keywords. The scientific name, in italics, should be used the first time an organism is mentioned. Use Times or a similar font, 12 point size, with one-inch margins.
