Symposia

Symposia and conferences allow you to attend a single- or multi-day program on a specific topic ranging from stone in the landscape or plant conservation issues to horticulture therapy or youth gardening.

Participants will learn from both national and international experts and have ample time to network with gardening peers or professional colleagues. Continuing education units (CEUs) from professional associations are available for most symposia and conferences.

Reclaiming Our Ravines: Protecting Our Ecological Treasures

At this free symposium, come and explore the significance of our north shore ravine ecosystems. Discover what is happening in the McCormick and Bartlett ravines as well as your local ravines. Learn what you and your community can do to aid in the ongoing management and appreciation of these local treasures.

The Symposium will be held in the Alsdorf Auditorium of the Regenstein Center.
