Symposia and conferences allow you to attend a single- or multi-day program on a specific topic ranging from stone in the landscape or plant conservation issues to horticulture therapy or youth gardening.
Participants will learn from both national and international experts and have ample time to network with gardening peers or professional colleagues. Continuing education units (CEUs) from professional associations are available for most symposia and conferences.
Sunday, November 2, 2008 Kayri Havens, Ph.D., senior scientist and Medard and Elizabeth Welch Director, Division of Plant Science and Conservation, will review the effects of climate change on plants and ecosystems, and recommend ways to manage these conservation challenges. |
There is no charge for this lecture. Reservations are recommended but not required. To register, call
