Awaken the Artist Within You – NO LONGER AVAILABLE
Stephen Marzahl invites you to join him as he talks
about the artist within each of us. As a designer,
Stephen is aware of the need to be in touch with and
call on creativity to summon the artist within. Some may

disagrees. This talk will include pragmatic tips on
tapping into, nourishing, and protecting the creative you.

This course demonstrates an essential process to review existing site conditions prior to creating a landscape design. This process will provide tools to create a healthy and well-designed site and address problems that may not be apparent to the casual observer. Gary will identify several methods to approach the testing, which are all relatively simple and not costly. These methods include soil testing, wind testing, program analysis, evaluation of vegetation, and many others. Students will select a site and apply various methods to compile a report that will identify clear problem solving.
