Summer Dinner Dance

GLENCOE, IL (May 12, 2014) – The most beautiful summer party of the year, the Summer Dinner Dance celebrates the start of the summer season on Friday, June 13 at the Chicago Botanic Garden. The black-tie soiree begins at 7 p.m. with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres served on the Esplanade, followed by an intimate dinner dance in an elegant pavilion. One of the most talked-about events on the North Shore and in the Chicago area, the 2014 Summer Dinner Dance benefits the Garden and supports its wide-ranging, high-impact programs.

HMR Designs will create the beautiful setting inside the tent, which will include peonies with a green and white palette. Passed hors d'oeuvres and dinner will be catered by Calihan Catering. Lynne Jordan and the Shivers will play while guests dance the night away.

The Committee for the Summer Dinner Dance is co-chaired by Mr. and Mrs. David R. Casper of Northbrook, Mr. and Mrs. Peter B. Foreman of Chicago and Mr. and Mrs. Steven J. Gavin of Winnetka. The Summer Dinner Dance is generously underwritten by BMO Harris Bank and Winston & Strawn. Additional support provided by Beam, Bonterra Organic Vineyards and Lagunitas Brewing Company.

Tickets begin at $750, tables at $7,500. The Garden closes at 3 p.m. on this day. For more information and to order tickets, call (847) 835-6958.
