GLENCOE, Ill. (November 1, 2012)- Chicago Botanic Garden patrons are now able to share stunning images of the Garden with their friends and family. On November 1, the Garden will launch a new feature on its web site, www.chicagobotanic.org/cards, where visitors can create custom cards and calendars.
For the first time, more than 200 professional photographs from the Garden’s digital library are available to the public to create personalized greeting cards and calendars. From vibrant images of blossoming tulips in the Bulb Garden to snow-covered trees in the Malott Japanese Garden, these images can match any season or sentiment. From creating holiday, anniversary, or birthday cards, to calendars with monthly reminders of the beauty of the Garden – these images are only available for use through the Garden’s web site. A portion of each purchase supports the Garden’s mission to promote the enjoyment, understanding, and conservation of plants and the natural world.
Greeting card options include choice of image, orientation (horizontal or vertical), greeting, text font, and colors. Up to five custom designs can be created per box of 25 cards. Boxes ship approximately 5-7 business days from purchase. Cost per box of 25 cards begins at $60.00. Members of the Garden enjoy a special initial rollout discount of 20% off each order (regular Member discount is 10%).
Custom calendar options include the opportunity to choose your own exquisite
images from the Garden’s selection or a pre-designed calendar. All calendars ship approximately 5-7 business days from purchase. Cost is $19.95 per calendar. Members of the Garden enjoy a special initial rollout discount of 20% off each order (regular Member discount is 10%).
