Each class begins with an interactive group period, followed by time for children to try a variety of hands-on activities. Have fun with a fall fruit! Take a short hike through the apple orchard, explore the parts of a tree, and grow an apple-flavored mint plant.

October 1 or October 2: Fruits & Veggies
We can eat a rainbow of fruits & vegetables! Look for pumpkins on a walk, dig for vegetables, and plant lettuce to eat at home.

November 5 or November 6: Feathered Friends
Discover where beautiful birds live. Explore nests, paint with feathers, and search for birds and their homes!

December 3 or December 4: Wiggling Worms
Learn all about worms. Dig in a worm habitat, feed worms, and pretend to be a worm.

January 7 or January 8: Wonderful Winter
Find out about winter animals and plants. Play with “snow,” feed birds, and grow a flower in the winter!

February 4 or February 5: Seeds & Flowers
Seeds and flowers come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. Search for different flowers, create seed paintings, and plant a seed and a flower.

March 4 or March 5: Beautiful Bugs
Explore all kinds of tiny critters. Dance like a bee, help feed real bugs, and plant a flower for butterflies.
