Yoga is an ancient practice that unites body, mind, and spirit. Practicing yoga increases health, vitality, and self-awareness. Students will learn core movement principles that form the foundation of a yoga practice, as well as breathing and relaxation exercises. We will build strength, promote flexibility, develop awareness, and move energy through the body. Come experience a practice that leads to deep relaxation and a sense of tranquility. Wear comfortable clothing (sweats, shorts, or yoga pants) with socks or bare feet. Yoga mats are required. It is also suggested that you bring a towel with you, as well as a sweatshirt for cool-down. All yoga classes last approximately 75 minutes.
