Lifestyle Programs

Classes at the Chicago Botanic Garden offer a serene setting that reduces stress
and heightens well-being.

A significant body of scientific research has shown that adopting a few lifestyle changes, such as exercising moderately, eating better, and managing daily stresses, can make a big difference in your overall health. What better place to learn how to make these changes than at the Chicago Botanic Garden? Discover the many possibilities for growing and healing while developing your body and spirit.

The Garden offers a variety of low-impact exercise classes that share a common purpose — to reduce stress and increase well-being. Yoga, tai chi, and walking are all holistic methods that are enhanced by the plant environment.

Preregistration is required for all regular programs. For more information, including a list of program offerings, fees, and registration, please call the Horticultural Therapy Services Department at (847)
