One of the great treasures of the Chicago Botanic Garden is the Lenhardt Library. Located in the Regenstein Center, it is open to the public. Members of the Chicago Botanic Garden may borrow books for 28 days.

Northwestern students will participate in "One Book One Northwestern University" (OBONU) in 2008-09, discussing David Quammen's book, The Reluctant Mr. Darwin: An Intimate Portrait of Charles and the Making of His Theory of Evolution.
