The Green Youth Farm is a summer work-training program for teens. Through this remarkable program, students learn all aspects of sustainable urban agriculture, from planting seeds and seedlings to managing a hive of bees, from cooking with the food they grow to selling the produce at farmstands and markets. While a variety of crops are grown, including tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers, the main crop is a sense of pride and accomplishment. Please visit this incredible group of students at our market stand!
