Field Trip Reservation Form

Preregistered guided and self-guided field trip visits to the Chicago Botanic Garden must be booked a minimum of four weeks in advance, with payment due three weeks prior to your field trip. The field trip visit reservation is finalized once full payment is received and processed, and confirmation letters are generated. Please call the Registrar's Office at (847) 835-6801 with any questions. We look forward to your visit!

Please complete one set of "group" information below for each "group" of students.

  • Maximum of 30 students (K-12) or 25 students (Pre-K) per group
    Please provide accurate attendance numbers so we can properly prepare course materials for your class.
  • Adult to student ratio is 1:5 (Pre-K-2), 1:7 (3-5), and 1:10 (6-12)

Self-Guided Field Trips
Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Available year-round, excluding weekends and holidays. Fee: $30 per group of 30 students.
Fee: $10 per group of 30 students. 1 backpack available for each garden.

Tours are 30 minutes for Grades K-6 and 35 minutes for Grades 7-12. Fee: $2.50 per person
Special Exhibitions

Wonderland Express Exhibition
November 28, 2014 – January 4, 2015. Hours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fee: $3 per person

Model Railroad Garden Exhibition
May 10, 2014 – October 26, 2014. Hours: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fee: $3 per person.

Butterflies & Blooms
May 24, 2014 – September 1, 2014. Hours: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fee: $3 per person.
