Peggy Macnamara: The Natural Art of Nests

This exhibition in the Joutras Gallery of the Regenstein Center will feature artwork from Peggy Macnamara's book Architecture by Birds and Insects. Peggy will give a free talk, "Finding Nests," on
May 30 at 1:30 p.m. in Alsdorf Auditorium.

Meet the Artist...Peggy Macnamara

9 to 11 a.m.

Watch and learn as artist Peggy Macnamara paints in different locations in the Garden from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturdays, June 13, July 25, and August 8; plus Sunday, September 13. Signs will lead visitors to her location. Materials will be available for children who want to join in and draw a picture.

Watercolor Workshop with Peggy Macnamara

Saturday, September 12, 2009, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Artist Peggy Macnamara's exhibit in the Regenstein Center has captivated visitors since its opening in May. Join Peggy for this morning workshop and learn her simple layering technique. She will teach you how to build form and color with transparent washes on 300 lb paper. We will work outside if the weather permits. A supply list will be sent.
