Carillon Concerts by the water
Bring your blanket and dinner and picnic on the lawn by McGinley Pavilion, or stop by the Garden Grille for a preconcert dinner. Watch Evening Island light up as the sun sets to the west. |
Tuesdays |
Cocktails and Music on the Esplanade
Enjoy beautiful views and quiet walks through the gardens before sipping a drink and having a light supper. Live music varies weekly and features Spanish guitar, blues, or jazz. |
Wednesdays |
Dancin' Sprouts
Dancin' Sprouts evenings reflect the Garden's role in the Chicago Wilderness consortium to Leave No Child Inside. Bring the family and enjoy live music in this idyllic summer setting. For these evenings, picnicking will be allowed on the Esplanade only. Farm Dinners
Adventurous diners won’t want to miss the Garden’s inaugural season of Farm Dinners celebrating the connection between Midwestern farmland and the locally grown food we love to eat. |
Thursdays |
Hot Summer Nights Music Series
Bring your dancing friends and kick it up a notch with high-energy music as you dance (or listen) to the upbeat tempo of a host of diverse genres. Beverages and light fare will complement the specific music genre of the evening. |
If you are interested in having your band considered for future music programs at the Garden, please send a press kit with samples of your music to Carlene Andersen, Chicago Botanic Garden, 1000 Lake Cook Road, Glencoe, IL 60022. All entries will be kept on file and considered when booking future entertainment.
