The Chicago Botanic Garden is a place where classrooms can have no desks or walls, and where students discover the ways and wonders of plants, inside and outdoors. The Garden's mission is to promote the enjoyment, understanding, and conservation of plants in the natural world.
Classes are available for every age, interest, and skill level with instruction by experts in their fields. With hundreds of classes to choose from each year, you will find the perfect match for your interests at the Regenstein School.
Wellness and Fitness programs use the Garden’s 385 acres to enhance the well-being of all participants.
Teacher and Student programs present fresh ideas, meaningful science content, and innovative teaching techniques. Adult Education programs include certificate programs, botanical arts, horticulture, and much more. Youth and Family programs appeal to children ages 2 to 18 with investigative science, gardening, and career exploration.
Horticultural Therapy programs teach skills for a wide range of students.
Urban Agriculture brings the Garden’s expertise to several locations throughout the Chicago area.
