Please join me in congratulating Mrs. Toni Preckwinkle on becoming Cook County Board President-elect. The Chicago Botanic Garden is proud to be one of the treasures of the Forest Preserve District of Cook County. We are committed to serving Cook County residents—at the Garden and throughout the community—in programs offering access to gardens and the outdoor world, education for residents of all ages, opportunities for those who need them most, and pleasurable activities four seasons a year. Every day we strive to achieve the same conservation goal to ensure that our children, and our children’s children, enjoy a world at least as beautiful as the one we now enjoy.

I wish you, your family, and friends a joyous start to the holiday season.
