28th Annual Roadside Flower Sale
and Workshops

Sale is September 12 – 14, 2008, 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Workshops are September 3 – 6, 2008, 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Chicago Botanic Garden volunteers host the 28th annual Roadside Flower Sale, a display and sale of natural, handmade plant and floral arrangements.

This one-of-a-kind event showcases ideas on how to decorate indoors and make gifts from the Garden's specially collected dried flowers, pods and grasses. More than 400 flower arrangements, wreaths, potpourris, candles and stationery are available for purchase.

Free Floral Design Workshops

Discover how to create beautiful dried floral arrangements, bouquets and wreaths from experts and volunteers at the Chicago Botanic Garden. All flowers, grasses, pods and foliage have been harvested from various locations in the Chicago area.

All items created in the workshop become the property of the Chicago Botanic Garden to support the Roadside Flower Sale. The Roadside Flower Sale is organized by volunteers to benefit the Garden's conservation and education programs.
