North American Japanese Garden Association Conference

October 16 - 18, 2014
9 am to 4:30 p.m.

Japanese garden experts and devotees will convene at the North American Japanese Garden Association’s (NAJGA) biennial conference at the Chicago Botanic Garden October 16 through 18, 2014 (with pre-conference workshops October 15 and a post-conference tour October 19). Conference workshops and sessions will explore garden design and maintenance, horticulture, history, educational programming, and how Japanese gardens can better serve today’s audiences. Japanese gardens can nurture mental health and physical wellness while contributing toward a more beautiful and humane society. Preregistration is recommended. Single-day registration is available. Members of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD) can earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for selected sessions.  Visit najga.org for conference information and to register.
