6 – 8 p.m.
The Georgia Rae Family Band plays bluegrass born and inspired by old and new Americana music. Champion fiddler Georgia Rae and her band of sisters, Quin (mandolin), and Kelly Jo (vocals and ukulele), anchor the Georgia Rae family Band with mom on guitar and Joe Burie on bass. They call it Americana, but their sound is driving and contemporary. They play an eclectic mix of old and new, a little western swing, and clever original material, all flavored with three- to four-part family vocal harmony. Georgia Rae, 17 years old, has been named a state champion fiddler five times in three states and is the 2016 National Twin Fiddle Champion (NOTFA).
