American Garden Award Competition

Voting open through September 1, 2009

Vote for your favorite flower! The Chicago Botanic Garden is one of only 17 gardens invited to participate from around the United States in the American Garden Award competition. This is the first national competition designed to enable Americans to vote for their favorite flower. The best way to make your choice is to look at all of the contestants. In front of the Children's Outdoor Classroom just south of the new Daniel F. and Ada L. Rice Plant Conservation Science Center is a selection of the flowers you might choose.

You may submit your vote by text message or by calling an 800 number. Detailed voting instructions are available at www.americangardenaward.org. Voting is open, and you are encouraged to vote early and often! Check back to see how your favorite flower is faring in the polls. The polls close on September 1. The top three winning flowers will be introduced this fall as American Garden Award winners.
