Native to: 

Brazil north to Florida and the Keys. Occasionally found in southern Texas

Plant Association: 

Larvae feed on plants in the Fabaceae family.  Adults feed on a variety of nectar plants.

Interesting Fact: 

Caterpillars emerge a light green and become darker green as they mature.
