This book is a valuable reference guide to maintaining a lush, healthy garden. It is easy to use because each page is identified with a header describing a different topic. It begins with planning a landscape and landscaping projects. It describes lawns, soil, flower beds and maintenance. It concludes with task charts for different parts of each season, such as early and late spring. The reader would be well advised to photocopy some of these seasonal reminders and post them not only as a "to-do" list but also as a reminder of why these tasks should be done.
