This little volume was first printed in London; however, it has valuable information for gardeners in North America. The book is in three sections, using flowering times of plants as a guide. This organization is not obvious. Do not let that stop you from perusing the wonderful photographs of familiar and not-so-familiar annuals, each with its own description, size information and zone recommendations. Also included are tips on how and when to sow seed, which soils to use and light requirements, as well as advice on how to ensure that blooms last as long as possible.
