Founder of the Ikebana Floral Art Center (Centre d’art floral Ikebana — Chapitre Ohara France), Marcel Vrignaud is a distinguished scholar and educator of this Japanese art form. He began his study of Ikebana in 1963. Since then, he has received the highest awards from the grand masters of this discipline and among other honors is the holder of the French Ordre national du Mérite, awarded for his achievements in disseminating the art of Ikebana in France.
