British florist Jane Packer presents a review of her work in this colorful book of photographs of floral arrangements for the home. When explaining her design philosophy, the author notes that “her ‘signature’ arrangement is limited to one color, sometimes in a range of tones.” Flowers are clustered together in bunches of the same hue with varying shades for dramatic effect. Unique or unusual containers in different sizes, colors, and shapes provide a contemporary appearance to Packer’s designs. Since they require few mechanics, readers will find them easy to copy. Packer’s popularity is due in part to her ability to coordinate interior design elements with floral work in a very dramatic fashion.
