This book should be added to your herb collection. It is an eminently readable book with chapters organized by topic. It has outstanding full-page photography, plus many smaller images and hand-drawn sketches of leaves, branches, and seeds, which are helpful in identification.
This may not be your first and only herb book, but it is crammed full of information about each plant. All the basics are covered — seed planting, preservation, cultivation, and garden use. It is also a book to pick up from time to time to read and reread for pleasure.
