New York Times Gardening Questions & Answers.
New York: Workman Publishing, 2003.
paper, 864 p., ISBN 0–761–11997–3, $19.95.

The answers to everything you could possibly ask about gardening can be found in this really big information-filled book. Many of the questions answered are similar to the questions answered on a daily basis by the Chicago Botanic Garden’s Plant Information Office. Written in a lively conversational style and embellished with line drawings, this book makes for interesting reading. Look to it for no-nonsense information, such as how to fight iris borers or grow a moss garden, or for answers to a zillion other garden-related questions. You will find this book a frequently consulted reference work, almost worth binding in cloth!
