Paper, 47 pp., ISBN 978–1–84448–465–2, $15.95.

This British guide to composting provides instructions on why, what, and what not to compost in the garden. Colorfully illustrated, the text has instructions on how to compost a diversity of waste materials in a variety of containers. The author notes that extremes in climate affect the process and describes how to overcome these environmental challenges. There is an extensive section on how to use composted materials, as well as suggestions on how to recycle other household waste.
