This little book, prepared by the Puzzle Society, would be a wonderful addition to slip into your bag for a train ride or a wait in the doctor’s office. There are, as the cover states, 180 puzzles: crossword, kriss kross, word ladder, pathfinder, and logic puzzles, all with horticultural themes. Additionally, at the start of the book, there is a section on how to solve the puzzles, with solutions at the end of the book. The introduction notes that these will “challenge the keenest of gardeners and test the most fanatic puzzlers.” This book would make a delightful gift for any friend and gardener.
